Recorded in Hong Kong months prior to the unrest and turmoil in the region. This pack explores various areas in Hong Kong from the ladies' market and “Ten Thousand Buddha Temple” in Kowloon District to the popular fishing villages and stunning scenery of Sai Kung District, to the Dragons Back mountain and wilderness trails in the Southern District Features Buddhist chants and rituals from the “Ten Thousand Buddha Temple”, urban and city atmospheres, and landscape ambient recordings this pack showcases how varied and unpredictable Hong Kong is. The city of Chongqing boasts a population of over 30 million and is subsequently filled with a wide array of bustling and distinctive sounds. Featuring recordings of the urbanized city center, multiple restaurant ambiances, suburban alleys and streets, and Chinese crowds + conversations. Also known as Qiandao Lake, this beautiful location consists of 1078 islands of all different shapes and sizes which naturally brings with it enchanting nature sounds! With a living and breathing landscape, this area is home to many insects, wildlife, natural water sources and remote villages. Featuring recordings of countryside roads, large groups of insects and cicadas, Chinese town chatter, Chinese street sellers and old Chinese boats this pack captures the essence of Thousand Island lake. Recorded in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in the South Yunnan province on the border of Myanmar and Laos. Home to 14 minorities including the Dai and the Han ethnic groups this pack features recordings of lush rainforests full of life and vegetation filled with wild elephants and an array of insects and monkeys. Contrasting, recordings of the city of Jinhong feature the largest night market in Asia and an array of Buddhist temples.
