Tomáš Vynikal started to make movies when finishing the elementary school. In 2005-2006, he was accepted by the photograph Tomáš Vážan as his disciple. In autumn of 2006, during the Academia film Olomouc festival, he met the producer Norbert Theo Auerbach, from whom he received an invaluable guidance regarding the production of the documentary A Hospital at World's End (2008, directed by Otakar Stěrba).
