Tomas Jefford Cantrell is an American composer and arranger born abroad in the city of La Rochelle, on the western coast of France, in 1952 where his father, an accomplished Sousaphonist, was stationed with the U.S. Army Band. Tomas studied music theory and composition at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas and later received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Thomas Edison State College.
