Very cool. Yeah I wouldn't want to camp there either but I guess they don't bother you unless you provoke them.

My daughters now are scared of camping there with my grandkids. Of course their husbands are just fine with the idea. Bad thing is there are lots of wild turkeys, elk and deer in the area as well as livestock both sheep and cattle. A mountain lion will kill at least one or two deer each week for food. When a lion moves in the wildlife in general start to move out. Last year I also saw a large black bear about a half mile from here also. It's a great place for wildlife watching. My Youtube channel has a few more videos of the elk and deer.

That is very cool Don!
I miss our lions. We had several sightings of prints and once a fresh deer kill on our property in northern CA. Never did have any problems, even with outside ducks and three cats, and lots of late evening walks through the hills. Had lots of deer too....even one we learned to recognize by the significant scars on her flanks....
Nice to know they are there! They do roam a lot when they have room....it's when people go and build suburbs in their habitat that issues start happening.

This morning there were feathers from a fresh killed Wild Turkey just 50 feet from where I videos the cat. He's definitely eating well. I saw a few deer also this morning so he hasn't killed all of them yet.

Do you have time and energy to set up a blind and some lights? Might be epic...
Ours definitely came back to the deer carcass at least once.

Oh WOW! How graceful, sleek and beautiful! You have GOT to take Gene's advice and set up a blind and some lights!
