search keywords hmm......

Am I doing something silly faced, or can you not "subtract" keywords on searches - like this....

search: driving -car

It's not working over here in lovely pdx usa.

As is, my search...

returns mostly immaculately studio shot and posed and such clips.



Now, I'm not being super lazy in my searches, so much as that I would look forward to forum input! (you all are pros at this stuff)

Well like I said I could keep hunting. Like searching for patrons or attendees at shows or fairs or looking up home videos or something.

I mostly wanted to bring up that you can't subtract in your searches, which is a biggie for efficiency (at least I can't). But maybe there's an "advanced search" that I'm missing (still kinda tedious, tho).



But! The first clip is getting closer, in that there's some naturalness to their interaction. But it's still pretty "composed under a pretty tree" set up.

Hand held. Maybe that keyword would get me closer, too.



But, so "no" on doing searches with minus? Sorry...I'll dig into the forums more. I suppose I should've taken this to a technical forum, too.

And kinda just being chatty, here. Hello p5. I've been putting up clips for quite some time, but always waited to say hi until I was "respectable." Well, hi pond5, I suppose.

...and the car driving was a search example. I don't actually need that. But that sample would have been meant to filter *out* car clips from the search. So like planes rocket ships and space(d) craft.

Fair enough....but it was totally real...I asked them for release after I shot several shots....

I share your frustration with the search - occasionally I look for specific shots to compare against ideas I come up with, and I get pretty strung out trying to be specific...

No, I believe it, and it's nice. I think for what I'm looking for I want like a medium close up with more face and in a less idyllic environment. But it's a nice shot. Looks like a nice afternoon, too. : )

Thanks, it was a great afternoon! I felt a bit of frustration at that situation - they were facing over a small river into a lake. Hard to get more face, even after I got their permission......one of the few times I've ever done that.

How about this selection?:

To subtract words from search, use the word NOT.
For example:

car not red not Renault

Not really talking!
