I filmed clouds (continuously) and because of the limited file size or length of the camera, it was cut into 2 parts (files). Now I want to combine these 2 clips into one TL, how can I put 2 clips onto my single timeline? May be it is very simple, but I just don't know. Can some one help.
I am using After Effects CS6.

I can tell you how to do it in Magix, i think in other software it should be the same.
Insert both clips in the same track. When magnet is activated you put the 2nd exact after the first.
Both halfs must be changed to the same speed.
After changing the speed you'll have again to draw the 2nd back to the end of the first.
Voila!

I knew Magix, but Ae6 is very different.
Ae6 is not quite a editor program ..Magix is.
Thanks anyway.. ;)

It is so as Beckhusen wrote. In After Affects create a new composition. Set the length of the composition to the duration of the summary lenght of both clips. Now drag the first clip into the timeline. Drag the second clip into the timeline. This clip lies under the first clip. So you have two tracks. Then move the second clip in the second track to the right exact after the first clip. Change both clips to the same speed and so on.
Thats it.

Stefan and Kaulfuss
Thanks
I tested it, it is OK.
Unfortunately it wasn't really that good, so I cancel this Timelapse. May be I will use photo TL in the future.

It's actually easy to do in AE with a simple grab and drop. Hilight both clips, drag them onto the comp icon and AE will ask you if you want two separate comps, or one comp with both files in succession. It will even give you the option of a transition time from the first clip to the next clip and so on. You can actually concatenate many clips this way or generate many comps with this simple method very quickly.

@ patuwe: The pictures of my AX100 are so great that i never again used my Canon DSLR. The one and only - (minus) is that it's not possible to use additional lenses. I think with the FZ1000 it's the same.

Vader,
Thanks so much for your insider tips! Are you now predicting GoPro share will fall, in short, med, long term? It is now going up crazily and I am not in. Hopefully P5 will give me another chance. :D
Stefan,
Show me your picture with AX100 from a 4K movie, and I will post mine .
