Reviewer pricing

I would like to know what do you think about the prices set by the reviewers.
I recently submitted a batch of CG clips and all were priced at $20 for HD animations.
Isn't that a bit low ? I don't wish to undercut the prices.

If they were mine, I'd go with $50 for the brain & $40 for the other two.

Great animations very well done. Perhaps do some searching on the site to get a feel for pricing, try the higher pricing Kelmedia suggest, it's easy to change pricing at anytime.

Hi!
From my experience: NEVER sell HD clips for less than $40.
I also test the 'set price' option and never understood how it works. It seems there are few reviewers on P5 because sometimes the price for similar clips is left by reviewers as I set ($60-$70) and other time is set $40. And I did not notice that clips with lower prices sell more often.

Thanks for your replies
I guess I will have to adjust the prices by my self. $20 for HD clip seems a bit low, but the reviewer/reviewers were pretty consistent with setting that price level. Out of 7 clips uploaded in several different batches 6 got the $20 price and one got a $25 price tag.
That's the more pricey animation ;)

Hi!
Can you write how long it could take to make a first clip in a 'brain' series? I really have no clue.

These are more "artistic" real value clips than many here that are priced for $20. I agree completely that any HD clip of CG is worth much more than $20. These clips could easily start at $50 and as they sell more increase pricing after each sale.

Making the brain model is the hardest part. How much time you need, depends really on how fast you model in a 3d app.

I start all my cg HD's at $40.00 - If they start selling well, I raise them. If they don't - I lower them. I think $20.00 for your HD's is way low.

Well... I adjusted the prices. We'll see what happens. I don't get to many sales anyway.
