P5 and Osama

Saw a few helicopter shots in the news about Osama that are here in P5 like a few seconds of this one from Stockshooter:

Fract, the way I see it is we Americans are always at risk for nutty terrorist attackers just because we are Americans regardless if we have that footage or not. If someone had those videos they'd make a small fortune :) I have heard many folks say they'd like to see the body because they want proof.

Luxor,

Thanks. Which news agency used the footage?
LUXORPYRAMID 3 May 2011 18:46
@Stockshooter - UNIVISION International. They are based in Mexico with studios in Miami.

I thought you have shots of Osama.

In case you did not notice, the helicopters used 'do not exist', meaning they are top secret like the F117 once was. Silent, invisible to radar, lethal and fast. Model number unknown. Holtocw must know what I am taking about. The piliot who crashed one of these helicopter must now be an "ex-pilot". The Russians and Chinese must be trying to get some parts of the wreckage.

The tail of the helicopter suggests some modifications to increase stealth and decrease visibility to radars.. The Pentagon has asked the Pakistani Military to hand the remains over, not sure what our response to that will be..

On another note there was a huge pro-Osama rally in Karachi (and in various other cities) today. I tried to get in to film and photograph the happenings but got threatened and chased off by some Mullahs, who thought i was an "American Spy" due to my Western attire.. One of my cameramen managed to get in and film some stuff but got beaten up quite badly by some other crazed Mullahs.. Luckily he wasn't hurt too bad and manged to get the camera and footage safely out and back to me

@grayscale - here the news said that the first bombings in revenge for Bin Laden's death are going to occur in Karachi, so stay away from crowded public places.

I have no problem believing the Pakistan military didn't know who lived in the compound. Heck, most people don't know who their next door neighbor is either. No need to be upset about that. What the US and "real" allies should be concerned about is if they refuse to return the helicopter parts or if they sell, rent or loan to other nations. That is what we should measure their strength as a friend of foe. That would or should be the one thing that stops all US aid and money.

Those helicopters aren't *that* secret - they just don't talk about them much. They are just modified blackhawks, really. Won't go into the exact mods, either...but they've been around for awhile.

The demonstrations in Karachi would be what I would call a "target rich environment." But that's just me...
