What do you do with clips that aren't getting sales and views?

So what do you do with clips that aren't selling at all, and I'm talking a longer time period here, clips that haven't been sold after a year, and aren't even getting views or getting very few views?
Do you update tags, change prices, change names maybe? What's your strategy?

I don't waste any time on them. Once you reach a certain size of portfolio there isn't enough time to go back and make changes. Better to keep shooting higher quality clips and adding them to your portfolio. Plus, I have clips that haven't ever sold for 4-5 years that randomly have a sale.

I find that some clips that sat dormant for 2 years suddenly get some sales. Once in a while I'll go through and add some keywords or re-work descriptions on old clips, but who knows if it has any effect.

Give them another 5-6 years before changing prices or worrying. I get many sales each week on very old clips. Just because there are no sales or views in last year means absolutely nothing. Be patient, hold your fair higher prices and keep uploading. I mostly update keywords and descriptions only after a sale is made.

That's an interesting approach RekindlePhoto. I'm basically gathering experience from authors on this matter on all marketplaces I'm really interested if anybody had any success and turned around those non-sellers into sellers on at least somewhat consistent level.

A couple years ago I dropped 1,500 clips that had never sold to $15. My income dropped significantly and the number of sales did not increase. Low prices did not help number of sales but income dropped. So that number of clips for six month proved to me that volume does not increase. Quality and fair prices (somewhere near SS prices or higher) is what is important. SS regularly sells HD for over $300.

talekeeper, you only have 32 clips, you shouldn start removing from them.
i think the best way to reinvigorate sales on old clips that had few or none is to upload new material.
i think somehow by uploading new stuff, your old stuff gets more relevant and tends to begin selling.

@livingroomClassics I'm not removing anything, I'm just interested in this topic generally, I don't even have that much non-sellers, but I think it's something good to know.
