over 50% clips rejected in last batch. Same for you

Hi All I noticed a huge delay in clips from December to Feb. I was still submitting clips to the curators, but recently they looked at it and rejected over 50% of my clips. Other agencies like Shutterstock accepted the same clips. Anyone have a similar experience?

Nope.

Yes, I have had a 85% rejection ratio and I am new to Pond5. Not very inspiring to say the least?

Out of almost 600 clips in my last batch that was just curated I had 6-7 that were rejected. The ones that were rejected weren't bad but understandable enough.

Yeah I had over 800 clips accepted yesterday and about 10 rejected for being to shaky - which they weren't, but I mean whatever. If you're getting 85% or 50% rejections you should probAbly not be blaming the curator. Take a step back and be real with yourself

If they are rejected in SS and rejected here there's no reason to feel upset. If they are accepted and sell in SS, I understand your feeling. Welcome to the club ... but a 50%+ rejection rate is very unusual.

I think this is the only right step Pond has taken lately. They should have started to curate much more strictly long time ago. Now they need to purge the collection from trash, that they happily accepted all these years...

I have had many 4k videos rejected that have nothing wrong with them "Some Unique to the collection" and being accepted everywhere else. Before the last batch which had a 30%+ rejection rate my acceptance rate was 98% to 100% since I joined. It took me a long time to produce, upload and keyword these videos for Pond 5 and to have that amount of rejection is discouraging.

I am a proven successful earning contributor for Pond5, I only upload my best work hope this is not the way things are moving forward. I have seen other contributors with 100% rejection rate on large batches on footage that is outstanding in several instances. Seems their batches were merely glanced at and not fully inspected further than a thumbnail.

I have the utmost respect for the Pond5 Curators and company and hope we can move forward with duration that does not discriminate and inspects for quality of video, execution , copyright and violations but not on subjective matters. In the end clients will have less to choose from as other sites will have the edge with content that was rejected here.

Had a few rejected, most were GoPro1 material, which I understand. That camera just doesn't cut it anymore. I was pleased they accepted some highly stylized b/w material of the same color clip. I'll try that again on a few items and see if the same judgement holds.
