Please give us a way to turn off infinite scrolling and use pagination instead when browsing the categories or search results. When lots of results are loaded, the page quickly becomes slow and hard to navigate.

Absolutely should be an option, I agree it is not user friendly. When using pages it's easy to remember what page a clip was on and go back. The infinite (almost) makes us search again.

I was just going to do a new topic about this - it is infuriating to only have the infinite scroll on the results, please put back the option for pagination!!

Hey guys! I know this is a perennial issue - to keep you updated, I know that the site team is keeping it this way to see how it effects the well being of the site as a whole. This feedback is important though, and I'll be including it in reports to the team.

I don't know who the heck had this stupid idea with infinite scrolling - it looks modern - but it is really annoying for buyers. I was searching for some music tracks to buy and I always get lost in the infinite scrolling. I try to open each music track in a new window and keep the infinite scroll in its own window. It's a workaround to know where I am in the infinite scroll however if you scroll too fast you can start all over again.

Lawrence - please do pass on our feedback to the team. Also, type "Infinite Scrolling" in the forum search box and you'll read an earful (if that's possible) going back 2.5 years. Please ask the team to do that, where you'll find many people, including myself (as a buyer as well as seller) explaining why infinite scrolling is so bad when searching to buy. The default should be Infinite Scrolling off, with an obvious button to turn it on. Now there's no option to turn it on or off, which we once had (though hidden in preferences). Thanks.

I also hate scrolling, it is a mess. There should be pages.

@danielschweinert: You mention that scrolling looks "modern" I will agree, on this as well as other aspects of the new site - but also take this opportunity now that the modern look has been mentioned to express how I, as a person who frequently both looks for information as well as has interest in products (to buy) am seriously turned off by websites with this look.
Basically, what it comes down to is that it may look cool, big images/video, splash screens, etc., but it lacks substance. Especially when I am considering a product .. something to spend my hard-earned money on ... I want to know a lot about it. What makes it better than the other options? Will it work for my application? Is it compatible? Et cetera ..
I distrust companies that force me to find their "contact us" link so I can ask them specific questions. In most cases, I should not have to. I do not want hype, I want information. When I have the option, I take my business elsewhere.
My opinion is that Pond5 page designers should keep this in mind.

Every time this issue has been brought up which must add into the hundreds, it has fallen in deaf ears. P5 wants scroll. They want to push scroll. Artist in the first 3 scroll down pages have a great advantage.
