OK, a thread to compliment, pat-on-the-back and callout other artists who are doing a great job or have made super improvement in quality. Here's a call out for Andy (Vadervideo). His professional comments and suggestions have added immeasurably to my learning the trade. His video captures of night time lightning is without a doubt some of the best cinematography anywhere. Well done Andy.

Great topic!

I've had help and helpful suggestions from many, and appreciate every bit. This is an inspiring group of artists.

One who stood out was motion_poland, who is a master of lighting and color. Radek took time to work a bit on some extracted stills of some of my clips to illustrate to me how I could have made them "pop" and come to life, and that opened up a can of worms for me that is leading to a big leap in quality for me. I really like the way he treats his people clips, especially the sad/pensive people. Even his happy and goofy people have undeniable character.

I really appreciate all the efforts Don has put and is putting into making a great and soid portfolio. A very emulative and inspiring person. Keep up the good work, Don!

This is a draw: First I have to mention VaderVideo who taught me to "stop talking and start shooting" and that even a clip which I may think will never sell may have a buyer out there.


Then there's Phantomewo, the adventurer, who taught me that persistence paves the way to be successful in P5, taught me to have patience and to make the best with the camera at hand.

Francois (Stockshooter) has been very inspirational to me. He has moved completely into Stock video as a profession and shows extreme professionalism in everything he produces. Well done Francois.
