Dropstock.io upload service

I have been using this service for 10+ days now. Developers are from Vietnam and I believe the other is from Armenia. One of them sells in Pond5. (Maybe she can see this thread.) First few days it worked fine. You put the FTP credencials of your agencies on the setup info page, copy paste your clips or photos to an upload file in your "DropBox" (Yes, you need a DropBox account) and automatically it distributes them to agencies selected from the DropBox servers to their servers and then to your agencies. Once uploaded you need to go to your agencies and finish the process (Keywords/Description). It is in BETA testing so it is free for now. A few days ago it stopped working for ShutterStock ... but I always have problems with Shutterstock using Filezilla and sometimes using FTP directly from my directories. So problems with Shutterstock is not something new for me. I have been waiting for a service like this for years. If you have any inputs, good or bad, please share.

Other than the problem with Shutterstock, it's working really great.

Several benefits:

1. Only upload once and disperse to any agency that accepts ftp (obviously!)
2. Uploading to Dropbox account, you can resume uploads, and broken uploads will be a thing of the past!
3. Ability to upload larger files (better quality ProRes vs h.264) using the same bandwidth from lesser internet connections, rather than uploading h.264 to several. This of course may change depending on pricing structure of Dropstock.io

So far not perfect, as for instance the "enabled for" list with icons indicating what files are enabled for each agency ... the highlighted icons do not accurately reflect the status. Also this system does not allow to change the status of an agency without going in to the agency's credential edit mode. Small pita, but at least Ana seems very helpful and I suspect it will be tweaked for betterness by the time they start charging money.

I tried uploading footage directly through ftp with SS and they aren't uploading there either. I have been using dropstock for awhile and never an issue with SS with them. So wondering if its SS as in their forums, lots of uploading issues again.

DROPSTOCK.IO states that you must never delete files in the syncing folder. I deleted the SS credentials from the DropStock setup page and in less than 24 hours they were deleted automatically from the syncing folder.

I am debating on trying to upload again via ftp with SS. Still not getting the videos uploaded through dropstock....never had an issue with SS uploading via Dropstock until this past week.

Deleting those files only messes up current uploads. If all your uploads are done, then there's no worry. I was able to move them back and forth with no issues (especially since I was adding/changing other credentials) and it worked well. The only thing is that you have to rename the file (changing one character or adding a word or number)

They told me SS was not being responsive to the problem, but also that if the credentials and connection do work (I was able to connect to SS via Filezilla but did not try an upload) the files remaining in Syncing folder would then upload and move to the Done folder.

Working flawlessly for my other agencies.

For SS .... I have Windows 10. In "File Explorer" I write ftp.shutterstock.com, for login I use my user name and password. Then is copy/paste 1 by 1 to upload files.

Movies I uploaded during the night to dropstock are showing up in SS now.

Mine are not. I triple double-checked the creds and it's not me.

Did a batch last night all clips on P5 and Adobe said they went through but I can only see 6 on site? Will wait another 24hours and see. I love the service and am willing to pay if the cost is reasonable. I have emailed Anna this am and they are very helpful.
