Nice work Miz. Following your advice I keep my prices above average and it is working for the most part, though sales are slow. I think I still need to learn more about targeting my audience.

Is drone footage priced higher to begin with and is more likely to be licensed?

No. Drone work sells about 1/3rd of the time in my case. I simply price to reflect the value of my gear and time. I do spend a lot more time per clip than many I've talked to, for better or for worse. I just counted my sales for this year. Then I counted drone shots. It just so happens that the number of aerials in my portfolio amounts to approximately 1/3rd compared to all the other videos. Here are a few of my other sales in the last few months NOT drone footage, but priced similarly:
