Sorry for you chadochado but I took the time to listen some of your work, and some of them sound not enough commercial to appeal more customers ! I think you have to improve a little bit your skills :) You can also rise up your price ! You're one the good way. But we can't definitely denied the fact that the sales are decreasing here :( Even if regular upload !

@mlpmusic It's unlikely they will revert back to 50/50 now.
I dropped them a constructive complaint asking why they made the change and they responded:
" ... We appreciate your feedback and we respect your opinion about this topic, but we need to align with our main competitors, as operations and hosting costs rise.
Please note that the industry standard for a seller’s share of licensing revenue in non-exclusive music marketplaces is currently around 35% ..."

Yeah... What about OUR costs?
BTW, get ready for the end, just like Revostock and many others.

I earned less than $20 dollars on a fucking $54 sale. It's fucking criminal.

And notice they keep bringing up non-exclusive without offering an exclusive option. It's fucking shady and they no it.

@TapTapMusic You think that's bad, I recently sold a business lic on a Sound Effect so even with the %35 I should have made AROUND $17.00, instead to my surprise I made around $7.00 and then found out this was because of some discount coupon that was used, I am sorry but why is a discount taken from the money we should be getting, if a discount is offered now that we already get a lot less, then that discount should be taken from POND 5 65% not our 35% ... I feel this way is beyond unfair to the artist, and really quite upsetting. Has this happen to others on here?

@SFXDude It doesn't surprise me at all. We are the one's that are going to pay for it. Certainly not pond5. My guess is that people are not buying like they used to. The market is saturated. How many corporate that virtually all sound the same do you need?
My guess is that AI is really going to take over this space in the next ten to 15 years. Simple beds will be just good enough for most clients. The only people that will make a living are those doing more authentic sounding music.
Everything on these rf sites is so derivative anyway.
Sorry, hate to sound so negative but I've had it :)

I've read the terms of the publishing opt-in. It's pretty standard fare as far as I can tell. They are retitling songs so even the publishing is non-exlusive. Although, everyone gets a piece of your publishing. Esp in the international market. Since they are talking net receipts, that 80% can get widdled down to 60% real quick when sub pubs are involved.
Also, anything that's placed will be in pond5's control forever as far as my understanding goes. Thus, a retitled track that gets put into the bachelor will be forever split with pond5.
I don't know if it's worth it or not.
