Kudos to Tom and P5!!

I'm about to reach a milestone - I'm within five clips of having a thousand. I can't imagine having to keyword and catalog 2800 clips - yikes! But my next goal is to reach 2500 clips. And Pond5 is the ONLY stock footage site on which I'm able to achieve that goal, due to the efficiency of the upload and template system here. I track my sales in a custom database which plots them on a graph by web site, and Pond5 towers high above all the others in total dollars. This is the first site I refer buyers to, as well. And I love the widget!

Having said that, there are a couple of issues. First, I've uploaded some clips via FTP that show on the server in my FTP program, but don't show up on the site to be edited and keyworded. Anyone else having the same problem? I sent a message to the site gods several days ago but still haven't heard anything.

Secondly, methinks they must have hired a new inspector who doesn't quite have the big picture yet (pun intended). I'm getting rejections that I haven't been getting before. The material is simliar to clips that have sold - some with multiple sales. Again, I sent a message several days ago with as yet no response. Hmmmmmm.

Thanks to some people who litterally send in thousands of clips in no time at all the FTP servers had accumulated quite a backlog. Depending on which server you uploaded to, that might still be around (I'm uploading currently and all seems fine). Problems like that are usually sorted out by Marcus - PM to him usually gets answered real fast.

And thankfully they have not yet taken to calling themselves gods. ;-) Really modest folks.

As for your review problem... I have no idea whom to talk to. Never had any problems in that area.

You'll be a member of the 1K club now. Varius is right, PM Marcus and he should be on to it pretty quick. P5 definitely ranks at the top of the list.
