It's a pity but it's hard to get any views here on pond5. The search engine seems to find only tracks that are here for month or years on pond5 not the new tracks. And you have no chance to present your best works on your artist page.
I'm here for 7 or 8 months and tried a lot with prices and upload my works constantly. But views are rare and no sales comes.
I share my tracks on social networks, get any likes and reposts, but no clicks on the links to my tracks.
The statistics declares the same. The best sellers are here for months and years.
In my opinion for newbiews it's hard to be found and to get any success here on pond5.

four_track you got less than 100 items. in 2013 when i started i uploaded 182 items all pretty much at once (which was not good, i should have uploaded them in time, not in bulk) and had about 10-35 dollars per month. so even at double your size, the earnings were low.
i can say that you should settle on a price and not play with it. make it an above average one and keep it constant.
also, something i notice you didnt do, split all your music into edits and upload them as different entries. for example if you have a track "uplifting music", you extract a loop or two from them and an intro or/and ending of that track. name these edits appropriately, "uplifting music - loop 1", "uplifting music - intro" etc. this way you will more than double your porfolio and it does pay. people do search for this kind of edits too, not just full lengths. your earnings will increase, in general, with this addition.
"the best sellers are here for months and years" - that may be, but it's not very relevant, because the prices (as opposed to for example audiojungle, where it would be relevant) vary from contributor to contributor. the person having most sales didnt automatically earn the most money. the person who earn most money might be some dude pricing music at $300 and having had only 30 sales (as opposed to top seller having 500 but pricing at $15). also, having a big portfolio can allow you to make more sales then you could deduce if you only looked at the "top sellers" - because you can have small number of sales on a large number of files so in total you would amount to a lot, although someone looking at the top sellers will not see you there and wrongfully deduce you dont make money.
i think everybody went through these frustrations. in my opinion you have to split into edits, as i said, because it will be beneficial for you. and remember you dont have to make it big (many sales on an item or two from portfolio) in order to have some success here, you can make it small too (few sales but on a large number of files from your portfolio, so they add up and provide satisfacting financial results).
also increase number of tags, you only use 20-30 if i saw correctly. go to 50.
and don't price at $15 (i saw you have at least one music clip at that price). go to 30, 15 is the minimum, dont stick with the minimum.

Hi LivingroomClassics
Thanks for your help. I will follow your hint with the prices.
I tried to upload any loops of my tracks, but all loops were rejected with reason: "...loops are helpful depending on the type of track. Solo drum tracks or other isolated instruments tend to work well in loops. In this particular case, I felt that your loops were unnecessary. A savvy buyer will be able to make his or her own loops from your master track, if they wanted."
In your portfolio but I can see, you have full tracks and the loops of this tracks...

yes, in the time when i uploaded them, this issue did not exist. i didn't get such a rejection as you described. frankly, it seems weird to me. some clients don't really know how to extract loops on their own (not all buyers are savvy, plus, some would rather pay half price for a loop than pay full price for the full length from which to extract themselves). plus, some loops might not loop well enough if they are cut from the exported master track, instead they have to be exported as loops from the start, from the original source file, where some editing might be needed in order for the loop to loop seamlessly. i don't agree with the motivation of your rejection, but it seems times are changing. maybe your loops didnt loop seamlessly well?

well as of today my first month i've had 20 views of my 9 tracks but no sales. perhaps it is just a waiting game. my tracks tend to me more song structured so maybe they are just not usable to the type of clients who come here. guess we"ll have to wait and see and keep the fingers crossed.

yes and keep working. and don't forget, don't give up. it's ok to be disappointed, but the difference between successful and unsuccessful resides in the way you deal mainly with the initial "fail" (the biggest "test"). mentally train yourself to withstand and to keep going even in hard times (hardest times are especially when you start, the first steps, the initial period).

I have still the same problem: 0 views on 11 new tracks and 0 sales. I think the search engine is bad, too complicated and too confusing. After 2 hours is your new upload lost in nowhere cause this site is not devided in pages (for example: 15 tracks per page).

did you post the 11 new tracks all at once?
i can't tell by looking at your portfolio, date of upload is not displayed anymore.
i think it's better you uploaded 1 track per day or more days, so as to have
some sort of continuous - regular uploading process. i think uploading
in bulk (a lot of stuff all at once) is worse for your views than regular uploading them.
you should have some regular stream of uploading, not in bulks.
my opinion is that it works better this way, for views/adds.

I'm sorry, but that is a very small number of tracks on a site as large as this. I didn't start seeing consistent sales at all until I had at least 40 unique titles up here . Ditto for any other royalty free site. Just saying.
