Slow Review Process?

It's official. Everyone with less than 1,500 approved clips here at P5 is forbidden to submit any more until further advised. According to the guro extraordinaire, Bryan B, there will be no more footage accepted at P5 from new submitters. Bryan stated that enough is enough. His clips are being pushed to the back of the queue and it is impossible to make good sales without having his GC's immediately approved. Sorry, newbies. Bryan has spoken. It's impossible to argue his reasoning ;)

I'm not a new submitter, just a slow one. :-)

My clips were reviewed less than 2 hours after I posted here. Maybe someone read my message here, or it's just a nice coincidence. Either way, thank you curator2!

Interesting... I have some sitting for a while.

I'm a slow submitter too. I've had two waiting for review for 8 days now. Last time I submitted anything was July and it took just less than 2 days.

LOL! I guess you can never please everyone. I had to laugh when I read a "complaint" about the time it takes to get approved here. I recently dropped my exclusivity at iStock, and when I was exclusive, it was taking 6 - 8 weeks for my clips to get approved. So I was flabbergasted at how quickly my clips have been getting approved here. I guess it is all a matter of perspective. Uploading, data entry, and review time are light years beyond what I have experienced else where. Keep up the good work!

I have clips that have been approved in not more than 7 days and some that have been approved in 1 hr. I am very happy here at Pond5. At least for now, Pond 5 has kept its word of reviewing within a week. Curator2 is reviewing most of my videos. He even works on weekends and holidays. Great job whoever you are.

I think that maybe Pond5 should have an instant review request button for those members that take shots that can be used in the next 6 o'clock news. So that if a contributor has inmediate content that has news value he can sell it to the world news media through Pond5. I am sure that there are member now filming the aftermath of the Baja California earthquake but they will have to wait a week to see their videos on sale on Pond5. By that time their videos will have little value. I saw 20 secconds clips in Gettyimages of Haiti for $3,000 during the week of the disaster and I know that at least one Pond5 member was there but his clips where not online until 2 weeks later for less than $50.00.

I think they need more people working for them! It would make things go a lot faster! ... and Im sure they can afford it!

Pond 5 is by far the fastest to get your work approved so be patient, istock long time!
