My clips suddenly changed prices to fraction of the prices I set??

MidWestStockFootage 6 Feb 2019 19:22
You guys can't shoot 1000 clips, put them online, and mess with the pricing of those instead of affecting the revenue of artists WITHOUT TELLING THEM?!?
MidWestStockFootage 6 Feb 2019 19:23
How do we opt out? I need every dollar I can make right now and allowing you to lower the prices of my clips LOSES dollars on sales.

@gregp5

WTF!?!

You have set 4K files to $35 that cost me a lot of money in model fees, props, etc.. to produce. $35?!?!?

Are you guys done messing with prices because I'm setting everything back. That's taking money out of my pocket. And no notice, that's the worst part. No notice of any kind.

Testing which price for 4k sells better??uhmm, let me think...i guess as low as possible...it doesn't need to run a test...
Is pond5 still free price marketplace??
DavidHornchurch 7 Feb 2019 00:57
glad i have not got any 4k a survey of buyers can be done alternatively sell at a lower price and pond5 can make up the difference
Mizamook 7 Feb 2019 01:23
Why not just run the test on those who said they want Pond5 to set the price?
StreetVJ 7 Feb 2019 03:13
pond5 must tell all the contributors about this.

so they can delete the footage from here and only sell it on shutter stock or other sites.

very unreliable company...
tomyt 7 Feb 2019 14:02
It's unfair. Or maybe it's a technical fault?
rasomaso 7 Feb 2019 15:04
I am just glad I don't have thousands of clips to go through and reprice :D
jcobalt 7 Feb 2019 19:15
Pond5 does not have permission to change my prices. The ability to set my own prices is the main reason for being here.

If you wanted to have material for a test, why not just ask? Iam sure you would get enough volunteers.
