Pat...no matter where you set your hd price...they will be invisible because the reference price is 4k price and i guess all the buyers use those price range slider to fine the search....

Just my feeling but the price slider is a disservice to buyers. If it is placed and the exact subject is a dollar too much or too less it doesn't show. Not sure if all buyers understand this. Many desired purchases end up being a compromise because of a dollar or two.

But how else would you do the price slider? It's also something to think about when pricing your clips.
It's the same as amazon or any online retailer, you put it to 100-200 and the guy that has something at 201 misses out.
Not sure how else you could handle this situation.

I suspect that buyers use the price slider when they need to cut down on results in saturated subjects.Doesn't mean one performs only one search,it is a comperative process.I believe it is useful, logical, and absolutely necessary in a site where prices range from 10 to XXXX.
Associated files lose that advantage completely in favour of the expensive 4K unless it is less expensive.Or gain an advantage in certain cases with more expensive 4k's depending on who searches for what.

Hi Everyone,
I am thinking of uploading both versions 4K and HD once more until this problem is resolved.
What does everyone think? Is this a good idea or a wast of time?
I have notice that I have not sold much from new content in 4K the last 5 months. This
could be why maybe?

Both versions and manually ask for associations? If yes it's still the same issue.
If not, hd version might get rejected if it's in the same batch.
It happened to me a few days ago.
If this continues im halting 4K uploads,i wont be playing hide and seek.

"...hd version might get rejected if it's in the same batch. It happened to me a few days ago. ..."
???
I tried this too and my clips were all accepted within 1 batch.
So now it's once more that we don't know what goes.

Yes i uploaded some 4k timelapses along with their hd's.I kept the same descriptions and keywords so as not to flood the search or spam the system.Even priced the downconveted hd's the same as the standalone ones even though it was nerve wrecking (thankfully now fixed).
So yes apparently they were treated like duplicate files.Technically they aren't and if you consider the issue we are talking about then they certainly are not but....
Unless pond5 fixes this thing i will need to upload both versions.I dont like it,my portfolio lately looks like its full of duplicates and it is becoming confusing and messy to maintain my portfolio, but it's either that,or no 4K at all.

gcrook, if you keep everything the same 'keywords, description, title' I think you get dinged by the search engine and it flags it as duplicate.
