@birkley: TO get shots like that and not have the onus of injury or death is a wonderful thing...very lucky. It's too bad for the factory though. That youtube video is crazy! I'll BET those firefighters are stoked!

Filming these events at the end of the world is a good reason to be a videographer. It involves adrenalin rush. Note the land mines from both sides of the trail.

Note the unique Palestinian intonation:

Something I've been wanting to do for a while....this shot only took 3 hours of hauling freshly-cut dead tree, 2 hours of setup, 21 minutes of actual splitting, and a long time rendering: Firewood Splitting - mk 1:

Great clip and you still have all your fingers..... Did you actually film the whole thing or compress still images? Reminds me of the old saying "He who cuts his own wood is twice warmed"
