oh thanks. I was confused!

I have already tried higher prices and had zero sales. Just found a level at which I was making regular sales in July. This is very frustrating. I suppose P5 will be happy with 65% of $0. I have 500 plus tracks here now and feel that if I leave them and raise my prices it will be supporting this mess and compromising my integrity. I had a bad feeling when I saw the news of a new CEO at P5--always signals a shakeup and focus on more profits.

It will be interesting to see how much content P5 will loose with these new deals and if it will be significant enough for them to reconsider this issue.

I've decided to pull my catalog. Wish everyone the best. Keep making music!

Hey guscave, I listened to some of your tracks, and I think you can do better than P5, especially this with this new deal. Best of Luck!

Thanks, filmbiznm
I actually focus my work with a couple of exclusive libraries in the TV/film area. More than 90% of my music income comes from that. The stuff I do for RF is for a little extra side money, but it hasn't panned out too well.

Good call, bro! I wish more authors here would have balls for such action!

So does anyone have recommendations about what to do about this? Ive been a member for years and It feels like they are now feeding us scraps. Would it make sense to sign up and hope for the best? RF industry today is so saturated and sales has gone down in general and I feel like I will lose more on pulling my lib than staying.

Stock music is about the long game, and you have to decide whether Pond5 is a viable source of income in the long run. For me, all indicators say no, and I'll be also pulling all my music away. This combined to a significant drop in sales makes it look like a sinking ship where the captain tries to charge extra to stay onboard from those who refuse to board the lifeboats.

And that's if I put away the emotions and consider the situation by sheer logical sense.
