What memory cards do you guys use for this thing?

The spec calls for SDXC class 10 cards. I use the the SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC 95 MB/s and have no problem with them. The faster card is not needed but works fine if you already have them.

I use this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1016077-REG/128GB_ELITE_SDXC-UHS-1_CARD_90_MB_S_

But have also used, strangely enough, SanDisk Extreme 45mB/s SDHC (Class 10) as long as I formatted them exFAT in computer first for uhd

Hey Scott ... welcome to the world of AX 4K.

Version 2 Firmware update is ready to install. Looks like the big part is improved auto focus. So far the auto focus has been right on in original version.

Really? Did they give us control over sharpness/color? Wow...where is it?

This utility updates the system firmware and provides the following benefits:

Adds Direct Copy for XAVC S format support
Adds the following auto focus performance improvements:
Focusing accuracy for main subject
Focus tracking performance on a person
Adds the 1/50 shutter speed
Improves zoom speed during movie recording

It doesn't look like any control of sharpness/color yet.

Just install it, the current menu doesn't show what version you have, after installed then the general tab will show version 2.

I would love to see them add a histogram.

Thanks for the link, Don. Funny I can't find the version thing either, but downloading now.

Would love to see them add the display function like the RX100 (attitude/inclinometer) sure is handy.

I liked the zoom speed during recording: slow. What I'd like more than faster zooms is more precise control especially feathering the stop/start (zooming out is a great way to hide shaky boat cam action but still get glimpses of far off subjects)

That's so funny you said that vader, I was just coming in here to ask how to turn on the histogram. Damn.
