I fail to see how this thread serves any purpose what-so-ever. If the footage was just uploaded they won't even show up for purchase or can't even be viewed for information or description for up to a month. Surely can't be useful in building sales or even promoting an artists portfolio since they can only be seen here within this thread.

It displays the efforts and inspiration of contributors, even if they don't make it to the starting gate, it demonstrates the stock loaded in it, even if it doesn't make it past the curator.

Kinda like the other thread that demonstrates that higher priced footage does indeed sell very well here at P5 ( many times not the highest quality but indeed needed by a producer or user ). Even after getting past the starting gate and after curator review. LOL ;)

Yes indeed new artists are asking that question almost weekly so I guess both this and the other thread serves a purpose. Still don't understand if the footage can't be viewed for sale or information for a month why show it ;)
