So I have a little over 500 clips on line in just the past few weeks, and today I returned from vacation to see 5 sales already... nice! I better get to work keywording the rest of the 1700 clips...

Hi Francois,
I was wondering where you were.
Congratulations on the sales. Of couse the part I truly hate is the keywording. But that's part of the business.

I know you bought the Ex1, Do you like it and do you find the 14x zoom to be adaquate?
I do like the half inch sensors, it must give a little more DOF.
Anyway, welcome back.

Jake,

Thanks. We needed the break. I really am enjoying the camera, quite a change from broadcast BetacamSP/DVCam, the size mostly. the 14x is good though I miss the 2x tele-extender, but I'm looking at the Century Optics 1.6x tele-extender. I already have the Sony .8x wide eye, quite nice. A very good camera all around. Remarkable HD clips with, simply remarkable.

Watch out P5 world, the master has arrived. You'll love it here so much that you'll never go anywhere else. Great work, your quality will quickly become best sellers.

His QUANTITY :-)
Good job Francois. When you say you took 1000clips, does that mean they are ready in .mov to upload, or are they still on the camera?

the 1000+ clips are safely backed up on multiple drives. Haven't processed them yet, still waiting for the new HD edit to arrive. By the time it gets here, I'll have nearly a half year's worth of material shot to work with, around 4000 clips... going to be a busy winter.... heheheheheheheheh....

Francois,
When I said welcome back, I didn't mean your 4000 (+ whatever you have in queue) clips. I don't need that kind of competition. :-)
