According to your observations, if you find the P5 platform expensive as a buyer, it may actually be lucrative as a contributor. Right?

Expanding your portfolio on P5 might help offset the costs of future purchases too. Just food for thought... :-)

It's supply and demand. Not much I can do about it. I can be uploading clips on P5, sure. That's a different line of work. I make videos on YT though. Coolvision, check me out. I guess I'll have to stick to $39 from now on. I've been on P5 for years. So I'm not just a guy who came to complain out of nowhere.

Thanks RekindlePhoto, but sadly, due to Pond5's confused pricing reconfiguration, this thread is, for all intents and purposes, dead.

I'll be removing my good clips and putting them on other agencies that are not pandering to bottom feeders.

They bent over backwards to attract clients unwilling or unable to pay decent amounts for our work, and I sense that somehow they simultaneously drove the good paying clients to other agencies. One does not shop for quality at the Dollar Store.

What sites are catering to more premium footage? I've also done some changes to my portfolio as a result.
