Vertical videos displaying incorrectly

When vertical videos show up in search results or while browsing the library, (on Chrome/Mac), the default thumbnail view is zoomed way in. If I reload the page, then it displays correctly. Then, on rollover, it previews the video zoomed in (incorrectly) again. Vertical videos aren't selling well for me here, and I am assuming that this has a lot to do with why. Has this been addressed previously?
