Great stuff. Liked the twin engine plane landing at the end. Cool vortices (sp?!)

Finally pulled this off! The sun is at the right place about one week in the spring and one week in the fall. It can't be too cloudy either. And there is a five minute time frame in which the plane must start to pass the sun. There is only one plane starting at this time also. If the plane would have started one minute earlier, it would have passed right in the middle of the sun.

That is just beautiful. How long did it take you to get that shot?

Thanks, Jordan!
I did one test last autumn, but the plane was a few minutes late then. But this spring I was lucky, I managed to capture it on my first try. (But since I live close to the airport, I only get out there if I know the weather is right.) It's a bit annoying you have to wait six months to try again if the weather isn't right on the few days that are possible to get this shot. I'll try to make a 4K version this coming autumn, or next spring, or some year...

You have patience! I think a 4k one would look great! let me know when you post some more!
