OK cool, so whole thing solved HV30 is the way to go then. Now what's the deal with the price mega difference when I look online? What would be a good price to pay for it?

Watch out for really discounted cameras, there are notorious companies that kinda scam people with "cheap" cameras. They will give it to you cheap but they will charge a lot for shipping, or they will add extra charges.
So Ive heard....
If you look at reviews or watchdog websites you will see the horror stories im talking about. Its safest to buy from B and H or stonephoto.
