What a shame - Add 4k footage template don't work

Waste my time with this new feature (which so or so makes no sense!)

In the Uploads page i marked 6 clips and tried to add a 4k footage template from the actions menue. While executing only 1 clip seems to be handled, but in fact no one of the 6 clips got any data from the template.

P5 crew, what are you doing?

And same for Batch tag ....

@Beckhusen - I'd like to help with that, but we're not able to reproduce the situation that you've described. We're not seeing any problems with templates applying to items, even multiple items at once. Please contact support directly, so we can help you troubleshoot the problem.

And as I've mentioned previously elsewhere in the forums, the old batch tag functions are in the process of returning, but they aren't here yet.

@jonathan - Nice to hear that you tried to reproduce it immediately. I'll try it again tomorrow and let you know. If it again won't work there's no reason for me to contact support because so or so this feature seems senseless for me and isn't important.
And what shall support help me? Maybe filling the fields / tabs and press "execute"? ;)

@ jonathan - My whole experience in web design and any computer problems learned me, that it's always a good idea to sleep a night before trying to fix an error for the 2nd, 3rd or whatever time. Also in this case! ;)

When creating a 4k template there are the "set price" possibilities = exclude from template / set automatic price / same price / let P5 set price.
My 4k template didn't work because i marked "exclude from template". While executing there comes an error because minimum price is 30$. So setting the price in the 4k template and it works. This means "exclude from template" isn't possible and makes errors. More about this last not least normal template and 4k templates offers no differents in results. In 4k templates i cannot set HD price like i want, and in normal templates autoprice for lower resolutions works in the same manner like it should.
4k templates are not only absolute senseless, with all my experience i can say you that errors in websites are very Google unfriendly and are leading to bad / more worse search-engine places.

For heck sakes, why is this becoming so difficult and our Batch tag not returned? It is a royal pain now.

For heck sake, at least give a character counter in the description block of both manual and template building. So now we have this crappy template and it accepts more than the allowed characters and we don't know it until after saving the template. Then when we apply the template we have to go back and manual edit each description if the template put too many characters. What good is a template now???

Can somebody please explain to us why the new and improved templates are easier and faster?

Can someone explain to us why the limit on characters and no way to figure it out until final save fails and we are then forced to manually edit everything that was filled by faulty template?

Come-on guys, for years ... more than 7 years P5 has been the fastest and easiest agency to upload and add data. Now it has become a royal pain the butt. No answer other than things that were not broken will be fixed soon. Please help make it easier for us, bring back the old P5 that everyone loved. The agency that always got our footage before any other agency.

We all want better and easier but really, it is not easier. It is more frustrating and especially time consuming.

Keep the Artist side ugly if needed ... but fast, simple and effective. Sorry but lately all of these needs are now gone.
