Please make 'views' and 'downloads' information visible again.

Please do not bring it back. We are all independent business people. That data is personal information, private business information. An Artist should always be able to see their own data but never others. Being inspired is a personal thing. Using other businesses private data on sales is not the way any business works.

There is a massive amount of information available in the Artist Resources already. This area show the best selling for everyone to see.

The best way to get motivated is watch TV and see the massive use of stock in shows. I was watching a Discovery Channel show last week and over six of my clips were in a single program.

I think that is more of a marketing thing.
If a customer doesn't see a file has been downloaded 100 times. The implied thought is he is using something that probably won't be recognized when seen on TV
Other sites have never shown that information and I believe for that reason.

WOW, the new boy on the block doesn't like the answers.

For a recap, his question is that in order to get ideas and to get motivated he wanted to see how many views and sales other Artist were getting. With his 14 products for sale he then can better try to replicate and copy other busineses work and creativity. Oh well. ;) Wish him a big creative thought.
