Uploading in 25P and/or 30P for animations or time lapses?

I haver asked P5 about this and got this puzzling answer:
"Yes, of course. You can upload both versions of the same clip, but we recommend you to do it only for specific clips in which the frame rate can make a difference.
About how it might affect your sales, we don't have access to that type of specific statistics but what we can tell is that your clips would compete one with the other and also that some buyers might get confused and undecided about which version to buy."
I want to accomodate both PAL and NTSC customers when possible and assume that an editor looks specifically for PAL or NTSC footage. But when reading this answer I wonder if it's worth the extra effort. I also find it surprising that P5 doesn't have a clear answer with solid numbers to back it up...
What do other Contributors do who make animations or time lapses? And what are your thoughts/findings?

I haven't done any animations, so I can't answer specifically for that. However, when I have the opportunity to shoot in both 25fps and 30fps, I do it. I have shots of things like butterflies, fountains and birds in both 25fps and 30fps frame rates. Yes, it is competing against yourself, but if the choice is between my 25fps clip or my 30fps clip, the result is the same -- I get the sale.
All that said, I have no sales yet (only been on P5 for three months), so I have no data about sales to share.

I just don't understand why P5 says: "...some buyers might get confused and undecided about which version to buy." I assume almost only editors buy stock footage for the buyers and they know whether they want 25 or 30 fps.
It is important to know who buys your footage and why. That's why I'm really surprised Pond5 doesn't seem to know exactly who's buying their footage and on what criteria...

@ GlobalStock, With today's video editing software, there's no need to send in footage in both 30 & 25fps as it's so easy to convert in either resolution. Only a newbie with no knowledge on how to edit or convert footage from one format to another would have a problem. So why waste your time??

@ pvreditor, Bob maybe if you're going to give advice on formats you should upload butterflies, fountains, and birds in 25fps as you have none online here.

I shoot all my time lapses assuming 24fps. That means you need to record 6 fewer frames per second to get to the same final clip length at 30fps, which can add up to a significant amount of time, especially when standing out in the cold at night.
Plus, putting a 24fps timelapse into a 30fps project (or vice versa) is hardly noticeable.

Thanks, Jason. @ODesign: I would rather do 30 fps because my (overly?) simple reasoning is that it's better to downconvert (to 24 or 25) the available frames than to create new frames...
It's a big pain in the butt so from now on I'll just submit 30 fps.

Yes, I misspoke when I said I upload at 30fps and 25fps. What I do is 30fps and 24fps... not 25fps. Sorry about that. It is the same concept, however.
