A one day topic.
Today is my country natiional celebration day. While making this thread I noticed I have not got to much footage on Romania. Enjoy yourself!

My salute to Romania was best left unheard. I played along with your national anthem on my cello, which was made in Reghin, 2003.
Fun though, and beautiful song.
Do you name yourself in honor of Take Ionescu?

Thank you, Gene! Nice to hear(read) you played Romania national anthem. Reghin is a famous musical instruments factory..
Ionescu is my real family name and is a very common one around here. My artist name is Regele(the King) Ionescu. Other famous Ionescu is Eugene Ionescu, a Romanian writer that spent the last part of his life and became famous in Paris, France. Take Ionescu was a politician.

Well, there were a couple moments of beauty...like the cello knew what to play.
One reason I chose this particular instrument was its place of making. I thought maybe some ancient family's story was entwined within its ancestry.
Hope I didn't cause offense....I don't really think I did, but geez...around here, politicians are the "bad people"....
Here's to Romania!
