Selection of multiple gorillas huffs and huffing. This is the famous "ooo ooo" sound you'll often hear imitated when referring to a gorilla or monkey. v1 of several groups. Some selections will be roomier than others - I recommend auditioning with headphones. There is some faint
rustle of cages and food in the background as these FX were recorded during a feeding.
From a series of M/S recordings I did at Zoo Atlanta - over a week spent in the gorilla & primate sections with access to holding pens beneath the zoo. These sounds are obviously perfect for authentic gorilla sounds, but will also work for sound design elements when building creature or monster vocals.
