XXX Like

XXX... like in Xperimental


A hard to define category, experimental might be anything you try for the first time and for which at least you have no previous example. For example(sic!), in the following clip I joined holiday snap shots. What I consider different in this case is that I joined all the snap shots of that holiday.



Please show us a clip from your portfolio you consider it to be experimental and why you think that. Also, any comments and suggestions regarding others clip are welcome.

Awesome video, BUT i think pictures change too fast. Slow them down a bit and it will be simply awesome :)

I dunno....I think the subliminal impressionistic effect is quite nice....differentiates it from a slide show. However, if you WERE to slow it down, just take it down to 24fps...but no slower! Great concept!

I guess this clip classifies as experimental. What's worse than a bored time lapse artist?

I did something similar but kept them as video.
Anyway, it was an experiment with tracking in After Effects and as a concept of a "box of memories"

@Vla__Dimir: Thank you for the appreciation, yes you are right, the change is too fast. I have a different version in my mind and I will try and make it asap.

This clip is based on pixel randomization script I made in AE..

This was one of my first experiments with split-scene masking. Top is time lapse, bottom, real-time. Both different color treatments, which I may have gotten a little happy with. Made another version less "vibrant".
