I recently submitted 10 and all were rejected. This was the reason given.
Sorry, we could not accept these clips. At this point, the clips with this topic that have a greater chance of acceptance on the site are both unusual and high-quality.
Now before this I have never had a rejection. All my shots are properly focused and stable with great attention to composition. Since I shoot only nature subjects my subject matter is very narrow. Funny thing is the rejected clips were some of my best work and I sell a fair amount of this nature stuff.

Just had all 23 clips rejected for paltry reasons. The reasons were heavily compressed (not in the slightest) and too many of the same subject and/or low quality clip. All of these reasons are incorrect and I have never had all clips rejected ever. I could understand this if the same clips haven't been accepted by Other sites I use. Perhaps Pond 5 are determined to put themselves out of business. My clips were fine and although discouraging I will continue to send my clips in to see if this was just a rogue curator - happens now and again so hopefully this one will be trained correctly or dismissed.

I hate to say it because no one likes to hear it but maybe it's time to be more diverse in what you shoot.
Bottom line is Pond5 has the largest collection of video of any other site and what it needs has narrowed so you need to adapt or not have anything accepted.

I also had a few rejected which would usually have been accepted. On one hand it is good that they are being more strict with the videos being accepted. It is worrying though, if other sites are accepting the same video. Up until now I have exclusively uploaded video to Pond5 and used the other sites for photography. Maybe it's time for a change here too.
Let's see what the future holds here ;)

If all they rejected were mediocre, trash, or obviously flawed clips, it would be a lot better. But the rejections are random. Some make no sense. Others do. But I'm not wasting my time until I know what and why.

Had some photos rejected, reason: "blurry." Hmmm. Tack sharp at full size. Shot on Nikon D810, excellent light, F22. Blurry? Unlikely. Oh, well. Back to the drawing board.
