Free program with Apple ProRes 422 (HQ)?
By exporting the video selecting intermediate ProRes and in "others" setting vprofile=3
you get an Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) MOV file
I have not tested it with 4k.
It's a very simple program with many restrictions but .... it works!

I'm enjoying the filters ... the white balance seems accurate (to my eye) and the color stuff is good enough for easy general work at first attempt, the export is a bit slow .. nice that it gives tips (hover over the codec presets) and it sure has a lot of stuff. Might be nice for something to do quick work with ... even has stabilize, but haven't tried that yet. Rendering a ProResHQ file now (pretty slow for the basic filters I've got on it, but it is doing 4K (UHD)

Yep .. After Effects reports it as "apch" which is what it calls ProREs I think. Looks good so far!
Nice to have another option.

Cooool !!!
Made a quick test on my office PC, works great and very very quick !
All programm files stay in the same folder where i unzipped it.
Didn't try the possibility of stabilisation yet, will try it tomorrow.

that seems very cool. I haven't tried it but for quick editing on the go that may be something to use.
